Power of Collaboration

At Békhudi, we believe in the power of collaboration to foster a deeper connection with ourselves and to collectively create a culture for self-mastery. Our platform is open to working with like-minded individuals and organizations who share our values of conscious living, meditation, and self-awareness. We welcome partnerships across various fields—scholars, schools, corporations, NGOs, and other organizations dedicated to service. Here are a few examples of how we’ve already collaborated and how we aim to expand these initiatives further:

Sharing Wisdom & Insights

We are passionate about engaging with thought leaders and scholars who can contribute to our growing community. We actively invite scholars, researchers, and authors to present their work on topics such as conscious living, meditation, comparative religion, philosophy, and spiritual growth. Our platform offers the opportunity for these experts to reach a wide and diverse audience, fostering dialogue and expanding the collective consciousness.

We have had the privilege of hosting Abbas Hussain, from TDC, a renowned Islamic scholar for a public lecture “The Currency of Experience – Discussing Meditation from an Islamic Perspective” in 2022, which was both enlightening and inspiring for our audience.

Schools: Cultivating Mindfulness in Education

The stress and pressure faced by students today can significantly impact their mental well-being. At Bekhudi, we are committed to helping schools integrate meditation, mindfulness, and conscious living into their educational environment. We are eager to partner with schools that recognize the importance of these practices in helping students develop resilience, inner calm, and a positive mindset.

One of our most exciting collaborations was with the KIVA school, for their Wellness Carnival in 2023, where we transformed a classroom into a pop-up meditation space for an event. It was the most popular attraction of the day, with students and teachers taking part in short, impactful meditation sessions.

Corporations: Building a Mindful Workforce

Workplace stress is a growing concern, and many organizations have realized the benefits of incorporating mindfulness and meditative practices into their corporate culture. We invite corporations to collaborate with us on tailored mindfulness and meditation programs and retreats for their leadership teams and employees, promoting a healthier, more balanced work environment.

We have conducted successful three-day corporate retreats for the Engro School at Daharki, at the housing colony of their fertilizer plant, in 2021. This was a holistic experience with a beautifully designed space for the training, multiple activities and a chance to connect directly with Tehmina.

NGOs and Service-Oriented Organizations: Creating Impact Together

Service and giving back to the community are core values at Bekhudi. We have always been enthusiastic to join hands with NGOs and other organizations dedicated to humanitarian causes. This is because we acknowledge that there is no spiritual or self-mastery possible without a complete sense of devotion to social upliftment. We are always on the lookout to partner with organizations and individuals working for social impact.

During Ramzan in 2024, we partnered with the Mama Baby Fund that provides critical prenatal and postnatal care for impoverished women and their newborns. As part of this collaboration, we led a 27-day Zikr meditation challenge, with participants contributing donations to support the NGO’s efforts.

Let’s Work Together

We invite scholars, educational institutions, corporations, NGOs, and other service-oriented organizations to collaborate with us on creating impactful events and programs. Please reach out to us to discuss collaboration possibilities. Let’s create meaningful change together.

This is neat - alumni from AKU-ISMC have set up an Urdu-English meditation platform to help people cope with the crisis of uncertainty and lockdown. We make a big deal about training future leaders in AKU-ISMC and sometimes that means people who have obvious positions of authority, like politicians, diplomats, scholars or entrepreneurs, but sometimes it means taking a lead in more personal capacities to try and make things better for others.

I'm truly impressed and humbled by Tehmina Mansoor and Zohaib Zuby. They are definitely demonstrating the kind of leadership that makes me proud to be part of AKU.
