About this Course

This is the third and final level of the Bekhudi Meditation Journey, designed for advanced meditators who already have a consistent personal practice and an awareness of their inner energy. In this course, intend to enter the heart of Sufi practice: Zikr — the remembrance of God. Based on the practices of the Nooria Chishtiya Silsila, you will learn how to meditate on the Divine Names and explore their deeper, hidden meanings with Tehmina. The aim is to develop true God-consciousness, a deep sense of surrender, and the inner strength to live with clarity, freedom, and joy. Zikr becomes not just a practice — but a way of being that lives in your breath, heart, and presence.

This is neat - alumni from AKU-ISMC have set up an Urdu-English meditation platform to help people cope with the crisis of uncertainty and lockdown. We make a big deal about training future leaders in AKU-ISMC and sometimes that means people who have obvious positions of authority, like politicians, diplomats, scholars or entrepreneurs, but sometimes it means taking a lead in more personal capacities to try and make things better for others.

I'm truly impressed and humbled by Tehmina Mansoor and Zohaib Zuby. They are definitely demonstrating the kind of leadership that makes me proud to be part of AKU.
